Since 1987, the Waterfront Blues Festival has created a space for a few days each year where blues musicians and lovers alike can congregate, collaborate, and celebrate. Sponsored by the Cascade Blues Association from it’s conception, all proceeds have gone to fight hunger in the state of Oregon and Clark County, Washington. Last year alone, the festival raised one million dollars.
This year is expected to be bigger and better, featuring artists from around the country from June 30th through July 4th. NiaSound’s artist Terry Robb will perform twice with longtime friend Lauren Sheehan; first on the FedEx Crossroads Stage at 6:30pm and then again on The Blues Cruise at 10pm. These will be return performances for Robb and Sheehan, the last time they played the festival together was 2008.
